How much will it cost

JLGB members: £99 Bronze, £149 Silver, £219 Gold

Schools & Open Groups: £125 Bronze, £175 Silver, £245 Gold

The cost includes: enrolment to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award; training sessions; support materials and the use of JLGB’s expedition equipment: tents, sleeping mats, rucksacks, stoves and pans and all the necessary maps and compasses.

The only additional costs for the Expedition Section will be for personal equipment: a suitable pair of walking boots, walking socks, sleeping bag, waterproof jacket and food for your expedition. All The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants receive a discount card for Cotswold Outdoors stores and www.cotswoldoutdoor.com.

Advice will be given during training on what is suitable and what is not! NB. All training sessions and both expeditions must be attended to complete the Expedition Section.
